We visited tonight after reading the positive reviews. We weren’t disappointed the food was fabulous. I had scallop and prawn risotto from the specials menu and my husband had a venison burger both were amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we will definitely return if we visit Inveraray again.

A truly family owned and run restaurant and just excellent in all aspects. Service was friendly and helpful and the food delicious! Between us we had Cullen skink, pate, chicken and mushroom pie and pork tenderloin. We couldn't manage any of the tasty looking sweets! Fab place - highly recommended!

Was here for an excursion from a cruise ship and was lunch time so decided to come here. The service was amazing and they were very nice and also the atmosphere was really relaxing. The room you sit in is small but it feels comfy. Ordered the highland cottage pie which tasted great and my gf got the cheese pasta and that also tasted amazing(was creamy just the way we like it). All around this was a cute place to stop and eat lunch.

This little restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was generous & delicious. A glass cabinet is filled with scrumptious delights, from individual banoffee pies to carrot cake (all home made). We googled restaurants in the area before we got there and read that the restaurant was shut, it was not shut, they have been having issues with Google. So make the effort to find this restaurant, you won't regret it.

We stopped into town during a highlands bus tour, and this restaurant was just what we needed after a long ride. I had the best fish & chips I’ve ever had here, and the boiled vegetables were all so fresh. There are limited tables and it got busy quickly. I think they flip to the ‘closed’ sign when they’re at capacity. But if you’re lucky you can snag a table! We were there around 1pm.

We stopped in Inveraray with our German tourist coach and had only about 90 minutes to ourselves. Luckily, I had checked Maps beforehand to know of this hidden gem. We had the soup of the day (sweet potato, tomato and chili) and the fish & chips. The former was amazing, the latter was good as well (though, as tourists, we couldn't tell good f&s from bad, so take that with a grain of salt). We were lucky to get in when we did, because within minutes all tables were taken and other prospective guests had to return later. If we ever come to Inverarary again, we'll surely drop by!

Great service, waitress was lovely. I came from England and this restaurant truly was delicious and worth every penny! Definitely recommend to tourists coming to this area. The lasagne was amazing and the beef burger!

Popped in for lunch while on a holiday in Scotland last week and was very happy we did, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. We were also allowed to bring in our dog who is quite large (Bernese Mountain Dog) and they looked after him too, there was loads of choice on the menu if you wanted a big or small lunch. When it arrived the food looked great, I went for the highland burger and it was delicious, that’s the first time I’ve had haggis on top of a burger. They also had some really nice desserts which is were I find most restaurants let themselves down, I’d definitely recommend a visit if you are ever visiting Inveraray.
